Stunning La Grande Wedding | Oakley, CA

Livier and Michael had their stunning La Grande Wedding in October 2021 after postponing for an entire year. It was so amazing to see them finally get married. Our COVID couples have been incredibly sweet and understanding and it’s such a rewarding thing seeing them, after all their patience, see them finally tie the knot. La Grande Estates is a gorgeous wedding venue nestled away in the East Bay and it is a seriously amazing venue. We love all-in-one venues to create ease for our couples. And Livier and Michael had so much fun at their La Grande Wedding.

How michael proposed

We absolutely adore the way Michael proposed. They are huge music fans so it was the most appropriate proposal. At a sold out show at the Trubadour during the last encore song by asking ‘can we do this forever?’

About La Grande Estates in Oakley

This venue has a really fascinating history that makes it that much more amazing. It is run by three generations of women – grandmother, mother, and daughter. Originally founded by “Mama T”, she now overlooks events while the other two make sure all the on-ground logistics go off flawlessly. We just love this adorable family-run operative! And the estate itself is absolutely breathtaking. Tuscan inspired walkways create an elevated atmosphere for weddings that is the perfect location for upscale weddings. There are so many gorgeous locations on site to take couples portraits – trust us when we say we have golden hour photos on lock.

Details of this La Grande Wedding

It was a big wedding! They had all their friends and family. Livier in particularly had a large extended family, and this was probably our biggest since COVID started. Our couple wanted to incorporate a lot of interesting details to make their wedding, well, them. Check out their wedding cake. Moody Goth Slytherin vibes meets Dragon Ball Z. It’s so … them and we are here for it. They were just so laid back and had such a fun wedding (With some seriously rad music – not surprising at all)

Final Thoughts

We love the laidback and rocker/nerd vibes at this wedding. We love it when our couples incorporate things that are meaningful to them. It makes weddings that much more special. We wish these two cuties nothing but the happiest of lives together!
