This ethereal San Jose Rose Garden Wedding highlighted the love of summer and fresh blooms. Paired with dreamy lighting this session created a whimsical and overall romantic vibe. If you love Rose Gardens or are thinking about having a Garden Wedding, this post will give you some serious #WeddingGoals aspirations to add to your look book.
We wanted to create a dream editorial that played up our love for soft pastels, dreamy lighting, and tasteful floral design. We planned this session at sunset to give us the best ethereal lighting for this rose garden wedding, and it was absolutely perfect. Actually, I think it went even better than I had planned. You just can’t go to a beautiful rose garden and end up with uninteresting imagery. And of course, this location is perfect for other types of sessions too. The dress is Bentlee by Watters and had intricate floral patterns etched in lace on the bodice, which added to the overall whimsical floral vibes of the editorial. It was sweepingly floor length that we paired with a cathedral veil to add interesting texture to the photos. And our bride looks absolutely stunning in it, doesn’t she?!
Our bouquet had fresh blooms combined with dried florals to add contrasting elements to the imagery. Overall, we went with a classic color palette that didn’t contrast too much with the backdrop of florals in the garden.
We hope you love this gorgeous editorial as much as we loved creating it! Of course, please get in touch if you want us to photograph or film your wedding day and we can’t wait to hear from you.
