Relaxed Mill Valley Community Center Wedding | Bay Area, CA

These cuties were a COVID couple and unfortunately, had to postpone their wedding an entire year. It made the wedding that much more special though! And the fact that it could be done safely is just that much sweeter. They had their outdoor ceremony at the Old Mill Park, also located in Mill valley. It was a beautiful outdoor Redwoods Ceremony, and it was a gorgeous day weatherwise too. One of the concerns for an October wedding is now fire season, which is an annual concern in California. But since this is indoors, this is a great place to have your Mill Valley Community Center Wedding.

Thankfully, this venue is indoors so no need to worry! And this fire season was much better than usual. Mill Valley community Center is a great place for a reception for a few reasons. It has tall ceilings that allow lots of light in with its floor to ceiling windows. Also, the wooden beams that line the ceiling are seriously gorgeous. The ambiance is absolutely gorgeous, and we love how nature inspired the whole venue is. Makes you remember that you’re in the Redwoods.

Inspiration behind this Wedding

Our couple wanted a celebration that was laid-back and woodsy. After the last year and a half of COVID, the only real goal was to have everoryone (safely) in one location. If COVID has taught us anything, it’s about what really matters. And that’s the important people in our lives. Weddings are the epitome of that.

Final thoughts

We are just so happy to see these lovebirds finally get married! After waiting a year and a half, it was so bittersweet to see them finally tie the knot and have their wedding reception. We wish them nothing but the happiest of lives together! And can’t wait to shoot another wedding at Mill Valley Community Center.
