Indian Springs Ranch Wedding

Penny and Justin had their rustic wedding at Indian Springs Ranch, which is located a short 30 minute drive from Las Vegas. But it seriously feels like a different world. Far from the twinkly lights is this rustic barn venue that is perfect for laidback celebrations of love.

About their wedding day

We loved how they incorporated not one, but two first looks into their wedding day. We’re suckers for a good first look, and these were both so special. Penny did a first look with her father and it was a tearful moment and was incredibly special. After that, she did her first look with Justin where, as you can see, couldn’t hold back tears. We were over the moon excited that they not only did a first look, but also did an intimate vow reading. Their decision to do their personal vows with just each other was a super special touch inclusion to their wedding day.

What we loved

We are big fans of our couples that really do things authentically and this couple did exactly that. There was a lot of shotgunning beer, and cowboy hats for days which fit their aesthetic of their wedding day so perfectly. With, of course, a bit of chic in there with her super fluffy blooms that played up the Spring vibes. And check out the sorbet of bridesmaids colors in varying shades of pink. It was a beautiful day of love, laughter, and celebrations and we are so honored to have captured it.

From the bride:

How did you meet Justin?

“Justin and I met in a little bit of a strange way. We had mutual friends for awhile, but somehow we had never met before. I was on Twitter and had responded to a friends tweet, and Justin liked the response. I recognized the name and clicked on his profile. Immediately I thought he was extremely handsome. Instead of taking it upon myself to message him, I decided to “like” a few of his pictures so he would get multiple notifications, ultimately leading him to slide into my dm’s on Twitter! We messaged back and forth for a little bit, then we began texting. We hung out that same night for the first time (August 23rd, 2017) and were together basically everyday after that!”

How did Justin propose?

“On December 22nd, 2019 we were at Craig Ranch Park having family pictures done with my side of the family. The photographer had done a few individual couples photos of my parents and my brother with his girlfriend, so Justin and I were last. She took 1 photo of us and Justin told me to hang on a second. I thought he was going to get our dog to be in the picture with us, but he was going to get the ring. He got down on one knee and I was crying and in shock! He was trying to stop himself from crying and neither of us said anything to each other, I just nodded my head yes after about 45 seconds (even though I was answering a question that was never asked!!) After we hugged and he put the ring on my finger, his entire family (who we are super close with) came running out and I started crying all over again! They had been hiding behind trees, buildings, etc. and watching our entire family photoshoot with binoculars waiting for him to propose to me. I was completely surprised!”
