Amanda + Brandin had a Winter Wedding at Stallion Mountain in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had their heart set on a winter wedding. We are the preferred vendors for photography and videography at Stallion Mountain, so have the pleasure of being here shooting weddings often. We know all the best spots for photos, and love showing our couples them.
Why do an indoor ceremony?
It was important to Amanda that they have an indoor wedding to make sure the guests were comfortable. Of course, December in Vegas is not QUITE like December in others parts of the country. However, it can still get pretty cold! It even snows in Las Vegas a few days a year. So to make sure everything was warm and toasty, they opted for a simple indoor ceremony and reception. They kept it really minimalist in decorations, so the highlight of the event was really their love for each other.
Details of this classic winter wedding
We did couples portraits outside (and they did their adorable first look) right as the sun was setting. It was absolutely perfect. We love when our couples do a first look. It creates a tiny pocket of the day where they can simply focus on each other. It’s an intimate way to really create space for your love where there are no outside influences. And Amanda and Brandin’s first look was no exception to that. Their first look was romantic and gave us all the warm fuzzy feelings.

For their color palette they wanted to pay tribute to their Las Vegas Winter Wedding – so that meant some deep jewel toned greens that worked perfectly. You can’t think of a winter wedding without thinking of forest green. Or is that just us?! They complemented it with white and minimalist details that set the mood for this cozy and intimate golf course wedding.
