The Smith Center is located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas in an up and coming area bursting with authenticity and vibrancy. If you are a lover of Art Deco and refined buildings, the Smith Center might be a great place for you to have your wedding. If you have been dreaming about your wedding since you were a child and imagined an elegant ballroom style wedding (think grand staircases and incredible chandeliers) … don’t overlook this gorgeous downtown vegas wedding venue! The Smith Center is a love child of Art Deco and lovers of old world romance – perfect for the bride who craves a modern yet classic wedding venue. If all this sounds like your dream vegas wedding venue – read on!
Right outside the iconic Smith Center is deftly named Symphony Park and is a gorgeous spot to take your wedding photos after your wedding ceremony, do a first look, or do sunset photos. The highlight of Symphony Park is definitely the tubular wall made out of rainbow colors. It’s a sight to see and makes for some really unique Las Vegas wedding photos. And it’s literally steps away from The Smith Center for The Arts! The outside of the Smith Center is amazing too and probably our favorite spot to take couples photos at. With string lights, and gradiose architecture it’s everything you could dream of. The interior courtyard is also a great place to have your ceremony or have a modern outdoor reception. The possibilities are endless!
When there aren’t weddings happening here, The Smith Center is known for its theatre, dance, and other performing arts. Can you believe it’s only 8 years old?! Before 2012 Las Vegas had no performing arts center, and was the only major city in the United States to not have a symphony center. Crazy, right?! So not only does it serve as a beautiful wedding venue but it’s also such an integral part of Las Vegas revitalization. Even tho it’s only 8 years old though – it feels much older and I mean that in the best way possible!
