Lush and Modern Wedding: Moment in Time Events at Lake Las Vegas

This Lake Las Vegas Wedding was SO fun to be a part of. A Moment in Time Events is a cute new wedding venue at Lake Las Vegas that is steps away from the lake and has an intimate venue feel inside. Lined with interior brick and a completely blank palette it’s waiting to be dressed up to make your wedding decoration dreams come true! And if you’re looking for a lakeside las vegas wedding venue – you might have just found it.

This editorial focused on lush and fluffy florals and a fun, playful color palette contrasted by minimalist greens and whites. From a floor length wedding bouquet to a 100 layer crepe cake it was an exquisite love child from some of Las Vegas’ best vendors. We wanted to put something together that was simultaneously modern and whimsical that showcased the luxurious side of Las Vegas Weddings.

The groom was dapperly dressed in a light purple tax from Friar Tux adorned by a fun floral pocket square and classic tie. Meanwhile, the bride wore a stunning and classic floor length gown from Grey Pearl Bride that accentuated her vibrantly colored hair.

And really – we can’t talk about this wedding at Lake Las Vegas without talking about those florals. This is not a normal wedding bouquet. Oh no. This is a magical, floor length, HEAVY and whimsical cascading bouquet. It’s a whole vibe, honestly. It took the bride both hands to hold up because it weighed ~10 lb and was full of falling roses and mixed and fluffy greeneries. Really though the best way to describe this exquisite wedding bouquet is exquisite.

For the arch The Lil Things Events did a gorgeous delicate crane backdrop overlooking lake las Vegas adorned with gorgeous florals. It was perfectly fitting and was oh so pretty.

For this event we went with a romantic and lush vibe that was so over the top with a cascading wedding bouquet that literally made heads turn Lara from The Lil Things Events is an absolute event genius and she is just so dang creative! There’s a reason I hired her for my own wedding in January 2020! For our table settings we went with a soft green, more cascading florals, and some cute gold lanterns that really elevated the table. One of the reasons we’re in LOVE with this shoot is because Moment in Time Events also has a cute little outdoor patio so it’s a mixed indoor/outdoor wedding venue. I love it when my couples have options! They chose to do our reception table outside and did a beautiful vintage and elegant sweetheart table inside.

And what’s a wedding without delicious desert?! They had such a unique wedding cake. It was layers and layers of crepe spliced with delicious frosting. I have never seen a crepe cake but I’m sure they’re going to be the next big thing! Flaky layers of deliciousness. It was topped with simple florals and a combination of blackberries and blueberries to bring some fruity touches to it.

So much careful planning went into this gorgeous event and it was such an honor to be a part of such a special day!
