It was important to our couple that we get lots of photos with towering redwoods. While we love going out to Oakland for this sometimes or Muir Woods, you can’t always go that far. There’s some great spots in Golden Gate Park so you don’t even have to leave The City.
We got really lucky with this specific session that we got lots of sunlight. You already know that it’s foggy the majority of the time, so sun is a rare treat. That being said – it’s important to go into your engagement session expecting fog. Be surprised if there’s sun, but don’t tie the feeling of your session with the weather or you’ll be setting yourself up for disappointment. Just know that whether we get sunlit photos like these, or moodier photos – they’ll be gorgeous regardless.
