Cheyenne and Ryan had what has to be the coolest wedding ever – a Halloween Wedding! Sign me up for a Halloween every year please, it was absolutely amazing.
Them and their closest friends and family came from San Diego for their beautiful Las Vegas Wedding. Ryan is in the Navy and just finished his 25 year tenure and this wedding was the beginning of his retirement from the Navy. Based in Coronado (Close to San Diego) they picked Las Vegas for a fun destination wedding location for their Halloween Wedding.
They picked the Wedgewood Weddings in Las Vegas, Nevada for their wedding venue did an excellent job on creating the atmosphere for the wedding festivities. Wedgewood has beautiful wedding venues across the country and this is actually the second time I’ve worked here (With more coming next year!) I absolutely adore this venue and would work there monthly if I can get the clients to hire me there more often.
It’s located inside Stallion Mountain Golf Course that specializes in gorgeous scenic weddings in Las Vegas. Couples can choose from three different unique ceremony sites: The Patio, which features a large canvas awning to keep guests cool during hot Vegas evenings and warm during the chillier winter months. The Patio also has a stunning view of the mountains which will be your backdrop during your ceremony. Enough gushing …so hey there Brides – having your wedding there? Or hey venue manager, need anymore Wedgewood Preferred Vendors? Sign me up!
Silliness aside, with a gorgeous color scheme of Scarlett Red, Black, and Gold it was spooky and mysterious. As people, they are both extremely laid back and chill which is my ideal type of client. They put a TON of thought into the decor but wanted everyone to just have a fun day that was full of spookiness and glamour.
Her girls got their stunning bright red satin dresses from Eleganza Bridal in Las Vegas. The dresses had delicate thin red shoulder straps with studded cubic zirconia sewn-in belts. Don’t they look simply amazing?!
The beautiful bouquets that AC’S Floral & Events created was a beautiful arrangement of red moon orchids and altar lilies accented with classic red roses. The purple/black hue of the lilies perfectly complemented the reds to create a very Halloween vibe. Halloweens are not all about the color orange! Red and black are traditionally the classic Halloween colors even if that knowledge has been lost over time. Time to bring it back cause it’s stunning.
Cheyenne got her wedding dress from Couture Bride in Las Vegas and I think we can all agree that it suited her perfectly. Couture Bride has a TON of designers but this one, in particular, is from the world-renowned Vera Wang. World-renowned for a reason! With delicate lace shoulders and understated floral lace throughout it was a gorgeous dress for a stunning bride. We found a beautiful grove full of trees next to a lake it was the absolute perfect spot for bridal portraits. When people think Las Vegas Wedding they often think tacky strip weddings with offkey singers but I hope that this blog post has proven that is not always the case. You can have a beautiful wedding in Las Vegas while surrounded by trees and water. Yes, we have trees and water! 🙂
For their reception they gave out complimentary masquerade masks which the guests loved and was super fun to photograph. I love when receptions start because it’s when the fun begins and everyone is just ready to party after the ceremony and family photos.
Cheyenne wasn’t done with surprises though! I knew about it and was so excited for the moment to come. They had their beautiful masquerade cake made by Cake Designs Las Vegas which was simply … for lack of a better word … perfect. It is one of the most fitting and unique cakes I’ve ever seen.
And then there was the “secret cake”. Cheyenne had a cake specifically made for Ryan to surprise him after they cut their masquerade cake. She is SO proud to be a Navy wife and to be with a Navy Seal (Did you see her anchor tattoo earlier on in the blog? If not, scroll up!) She also gifted him with a beautiful hand-carved plaque celebrating his service
Cheyenne and Ryan danced the night away to lots of Halloween Music and a lot of heavy metal. Which I’ve never heard before at a wedding but I can 1000% get behind head banging in a mosh pit at weddings. 10/10 would do again. Wishing these two lovebirds nothing but the happiest of lives together.
