Lauren + Vance decided to elope in one of the most beautiful spots in the Las Vegas area – the Dry Lake Bed. They drove to Vegas from San Diego for the military ball (Vance is a Navy Seal) and they enjoyed the wonders of the Strip for the first few days of their visit, and then I showed them the magic of the open desert. With a gentle breeze and just the right amount of sunlight, they said their nuptials in front of the setting sun.
Lauren wore a beautiful dress with delicate lace floral straps and a long veil that blew gently in the desert breeze. For her flowers, she went very “winter” themed with maroons complemented by light pinks and a dash of eucalyptus stems. It was the perfect bouquet for a winter elopement in the desert and suited the day perfectly.
It was such a special ceremony … both of them wrote personal vows that they read to each other. There were many happy tears shed between these lovebirds.
Wanda, the officiant, had a special treat for them with a sand unity ceremony where they combined their lives into one. It was an extremely intimate moment which is why I love elopements so much. It was just this beautiful couple, the officiant, and the open desert.
What a beautiful and unique ceremony for two incredible human beings. Wishing them nothing but happiness in their life together!
