Getting married in a historic spot like the Basilica is truly special (and honestly – it’s pretty hard to snag a date here – it’s that popular!) The huge stained-glass windows, the towering ceilings, the amazing light – it’s an epic place for a ceremony. But even with all that grandeur, this day was all about celebrating two people who are super in love. One of our favorite things is observing how a couple looks at each other on their wedding day. And you could just feel how incredibly in love they are.

Classic Style, All the Feels

Our couple brought so much warmth and classic style to this already stunning venue. The groom looked perfect in a timeless black tux and a sleek black bow tie. You just can’t beat that look, honestly. We have seen a lot of wedding trends come and go throughout the years, and you just can’t beat a tux and a bow tie. My husband wore a bow tie to our own wedding even.

The bride was breathtaking. She chose a veil that felt like a dream, catching the light as she walked down the aisle. We also loved how she brought in a pop of color with a beautiful bouquet that had light pink flowers.
