We love this location so much. There’s a nice boardwalk which provides a nice aesthetic touch and you’re surrounded by old growth forests. During sunset it has some really pretty rays that poke through.
We love botanical gardens for engagement sessions. During the summer there’s a lot of gorgeous roses all around, too. This is a really cozy spot for engagement photos.
There’s similar garden vibes to Filoli Gardens on the Peninsula. Beautifully manicured and gives off an enchanted garden vibe.
This is a really awesome park. It’s very woodsy with old-growth forests. There’s some perfect spots where the light filters in and you feel like you’re a lot more north or in Muir Woods. But really, you’re in Oakland.
Pretty neighborhood park in Walnut Creek. Has a nice lake and lots of pretty spots for photos. Looks particularly pretty in Fall with all the trees turning golden and red.
This is a common vibe all over the East Bay. The rolling wheat fields with cities twinkling below. It’s a stunning vibe, and we know some great secret spots to take you that don’t require permits. It’s the perfect place for a sunset session and the golden hour vibes are seriously immaculate. If you love dreamy and creamy imagery with lots of sunflares, this is a great idea.
Didn’t think you’d see something Southwest inspired on this list, did you? Lots of pretty paths and cacti. Requires a permit fee, although the website doesn’t say how much. Been on my list for a while though, it’s a gorgeous place.
This location is great if you want to be surrounded by greenery. It’s pretty similar to Joaquin Miller Park, but more of the trees are tall and skinny so you tend to get a bit more light in.
Gorgeous sweeping greenery views with the fog rolling in sometimes. When it’s sunny, I’m sure it’s just as pretty, but in a different way.
