Glamis Sand Dunes Wedding Editorial | Brawley, California

Have you ever wanted to get married at Sand Dunes? If so, this gorgeous Glamis Sand Dunes wedding editorial is just the inspiration you need to make it happen. We pulled together a combination of bohemian accents and soft pink pastels to create a truly dreamy look. We are experts in desert weddings and we absolutely loved shooting at sand dunes! If you are looking for a unique place for your Southern California wedding – this is definitely one of the most unique! Located a mere two hours from San Diego, it looks like it is on Mars or Morocco. Instead, it’s outside of the small town of Brawley, and is the perfect place for a bohemian or modern elopement.

Inspiration behind the shoot

The goal of this Glamis Wedding Inspiration was to show that the sky is the limit. Funnily enough, we actually showed up at 6:30AM prepared to have their ceremony at sunrise. There was no sunrise because of the cloudy day. Of course, we were blessed with an overcast day (a real rarity in the desert!) which gave us beautiful even lighting that helped emphasize the pastel vibes of the day. Naturally, we used a lot of dried florals as a nod to the desert climate where that’s mainly what grows. We contrasted this with some gorgeous dried palms that completed the look.

And we can’t talk about this editorial without talking about the chiffon wedding dress that is both ethereal and timeless. With bold flutter sleeves it’s a gorgeous pairing with our grooms emerald suit that was the perfect fit for our desert vibe aesthetic.
