For our anniversary every year, my boyfriend and I pick a place in the world and spend a few weeks exploring. This year, we decided on Morocco. And what a choice it was. Out of everywhere I’ve been in the world Morocco is definitely one of the most unique places I’ve been. From lush country landscapes to bustling medinas (markets) it is a place you have to experience to truly understand.
We road tripped from Casablanca, down to Marrakech, to Ouarzazate, through the Atlas Mountains to Ait Ben Haddou (The filming location for Yunkai in Game of Thrones!!). It’s a magical country filled with warmhearted people and such a unique sense of self it’s easy to get overwhelmed.
I could say so much more about this beautiful country but I hope you enjoy the photos I took throughout my trip. For now, I will sip my Moroccan Mint Tea and reflect on the beautiful people I met and the jaw-dropping architecture that was omnipresent. I am so blessed to travel as much as I do, and one of the aims of my work is to share those experiences with others because it’s experiences that help us evolve to the best version of ourselves. And life is all about the journey.
